Free Agent - Recap

With Elise gone to Redemption Island, for the Savaii Tribe: Ozzy, Whitney, Keith, Dawn, Cochran, and Jim and on the Upolu Tribe: Coach, Edna, Sophie, Albert, Rick, Mikayla, and Brandon remain in the competition for the Million Dollars. On Night 14, Ozzy goes up to the tribe and says that he didn’t like the blindside that happened and says that he is playing for himself. Dawn says that Ozzy has secrets too. He admits that he has the Idol. This makes everyone on edge.

Day 15

On Savaii, Ozzy goes fishing and says that he provides for the tribe and that if they are going to want to get further in the competition, they are going to have to listen to him. However, the other tribe members do not like the new behavior of Ozzy. Cochran loves it because for once, the pressure is off him and onto Ozzy. Meanwhile at the Upolu tribe, Coach says that he is in a good place and says that Albert and Sophie know that Coach has the Idol. Brandon wants to go hunt for the third clue and finds it right away. He shows Coach and Albert the clue and tells that they can start searching for it. Albert tells Coach not to tell Brandon right now because he is a loose cannon and that it wouldn’t be smart. Coach sees Brandon adamant in looking and is having flashbacks to when Russell was on Heroes vs. Villains with him. Coach doesn’t trust Brandon.

The Duel for staying on Redemption Island begins and Elyse says that it was her time to go according to people who she thought were her allies. Christine says that she is still on the island unfortunately and says that it could break you. Christine and Elyse play a sort of shuffle board and it is a close game, but Christine stays alive in the competition when she manages to knock over all of Elyse’s pucks.

At Upolu, Edna and Coach go hunting for coconuts and she says that she is going to be loyal to Coach and says that they can be a good team together. Coach agrees with her and believes that she is one of the most loyal of the tribe. At Savaii, Ozzy realizes that he made a mistake about his hissy-fit and apologizes. Keith says that they could take this game and win it all. Ozzy sits down with the camp and apologizes to them as well. He says that he wants to reunify with them all.

Day 16

Immunity Challenge time and the survivors come to learn that they are going to have to dump the coconuts and use a slingshot to knock down targets. The reward will be able to go to Sliding Rocks and enjoy a picnic lunch. The teams assemble the wheelbarrel and Savaii has trouble getting the wheelbarrel going. Upolu gets a huge lead, and Savaii catches up and eventually wins the challenge with Jim’s accurate aim. Coach is upset that Mikayla didn’t hit a single target and that she didn’t listen when he told her to sit it out and let others try.

The Savaii tribe goes to Sliding Rocks and has a fun time with their reward. They bond with one another and have fun sliding into the water. Even Cochran gets in on the fun too. Meanwhile, at the Upolu tribe, the camp strategizes and Albert tells everyone that Edna should be the one going home because of the fact that she doesn’t have strength and that she is planning something. However, Brandon says that he is going to stick to the original plan of having people who are going to be loyal versus strength. He tells Albert and Sophie that he is going to vote out Mikayla because of the original promise that they had going in. Albert goes up to Mikayla and tells her that he has her back and says that he would rather have her on his team then someone who is strategic.

Tribal Council time and Jeff says that they had a big loss. Coach says that they didn’t work as a team and that people didn’t want to listen. They talk about how Edna is loyal and everything, but it is Mikayla who is going to win challenges. Jeff asks Edna how it feels to be sat out in challenges. She says that it has to be then it has to be. Brandon opens his mouth and tells the tribe that they all agreed on Loyalty to be the deciding factor and despite how he feels, he needs to stick to what he originally agreed and says that they can vote him out if they don’t want to play the game with loyal people. The votes are tallied and it is Edna with 3 votes and Mikayla with 3 votes. The person voted out is Mikayla. She walks off and the episode ends.
