Running the Show - Recap

With Jim and Ozzy voted to Redemption Island Whitney, Dawn, Cochran, Coach, Edna, Sophie, Albert, Rick, and Brandon keep fighting to stay in the game. On Night 24 on Redemption Island, Jim gets in and is welcomed by Keith and Ozzy. He says that he thought that they were supposed to be in the Final 3. At the Te Tuna tribe, Coach gets everyone together and tells them that Jim was a bad thing to have around and says that they are now going to be able to get to know one another. Whitney doesn’t buy it and says that she knows that she and Dawn are on the outs.

Day 25

Cochran is joining Coach with his Taj-Chi. Cochran says that it is best to keep with the Cult Leader and says that he is drinking the Kool-Aid. The duel begins and they have one shot to stay alive in the competition. The other two will become the first and second on the jury. They are going to have to balance things and if they move, they will drop them. Jim falters first and is out of the competition. Keith is the next one out of the competition. Ozzy is still alive in the competition on Redemption Island. Jim says that he hopes that there is a second Redemption Island, but Jeff says that there isn’t.

Day 26

On Redemption Island, Ozzy fishes for more food and he says that he has everything he wants on the island without needing to fight and scrape by. He says that he is going to be ready for anyone to come to him because he is going to be well feed and stronger then before. On the Te Tuna tribe, Rick finds that they are not having any luck catching fish like Ozzy could. Dawn tells Cochran that he can make a power play now and change it up by going with her and Whitney.

Immunity Challenge time and they are going to have to balance a bowl of rice on their head and go through a obstacle course and fill up their rice bowl. They begin and Dawn, Brandon and Sophie are the only ones to make it through the first time without dumping their rice. Cochran isn’t having any luck. Brandon and Dawn and Sophie are the ones who are fighting and succeeding. Sophie eventually wins the immunity.

Day 27

The tribe mates get back and congratulate Sophie on doing a great job with filling the rice quickly. Cochran meets with Coach and asks him if he is in any danger. Coach laughs and says that he is fine. Coach says that Dawn and Whitney are going to be next. There is a twist at Tribal Council and there is possibly a double elimination. Dawn tells Whitney that their only hope is Albert. She talks to him and says that Coach is going to take Edna and Sophie. He starts to see a plan forming of getting Edna out. Brandon sees Albert talking to Whitney and asks Coach if it was true that they weren’t supposed to be talking to the others. Albert talks to Cochran and tells him that he is going to be voted out 7th and Cochran starts to show his nervousness. Albert talks to Sophie about it and she agrees, but doesn’t want to go against the original plan. Coach knows that something is going on and tells the others that if they go against the “family”, they’re dead.

Tribal Council time and the remaining tribal members come in along with Jim and Keith as the jury. They start talking and Dawn says that it is time for the group to use Dawn and Whitney. Jeff asks who 5, 6 and 7. Whitney says that she knows that Cochran is 7th to be voted off. Cochran says that he is already making moves to play ahead. The votes are tallied and it is Dawn with 4 votes Edna with 2 votes. Dawn is voted off to Redemption Island. The twist is revealed and there is another immunity challenge. The challenge is Survivor Trivia. Albert, Rick and Edna get the first question wrong. Cochran and Brandon get the next question wrong. Coach is out and it is down to Whitney and Sophie. With a true or false question, Sophie wins the Immunity. The votes are tallied again and it is Whitney with 4 votes and Cochran with 1 vote. The next person voted off to Redemption Island is Whitney.
