Cult Like - Recap

With Keith and Jim gone and Ozzy, Whitney and Dawn on Redemption Island, it is only Cochran, Coach, Edna, Sophie, Albert, Rick, and Brandon who are in the main game. On Night 27, Coach says that they are going to have to get rid of their own now. They talk and Coach says that they don’t feel like a tribe now. Cochran is worried that he is going to be the next one taken out of the “family”

Day 28

The next day, Cochran talks to the others and jokes with them. Sophie sees him as a threat now and says that he is going to have to go. Cochran sees the little “cult” that they have going and hopes that he doesn’t get to drink the poison kool-aide. Cochran says that he would really appreciate it if they would allow him to stay

Duel time on Redemption Island and Ozzy, Dawn and Whitney come in. The one survivor who is able to balance dishes will be able to stay alive in the competition on Redemption. They all start stacking the dishes and by the 11th dish, Dawn is out of Survivor. By the 13th dish, Whitney is out and Ozzy is still alive in the game. Dawn says that she learned that anything is possible. Whitney says that her adventure was to show that she could do this. She says that she is proud.

Day 29

Om Redemption Island, Ozzy says that he can stay alive and get stronger while there. On the Te Tuna tribe, Edna talks to Albert and he thinks that they are not playing the right game. Cochran makes himself useful and helps out Brandon by fishing. Albert gets up to get the laundry and spills the water over the fire. Edna doesn’t like that Albert was doing nothing and Rick calls him “Prince Albert”. Coach is starting to see that Albert isn’t a player that is going to help around camp, but doesn’t know all the details of the possibilities.

Day 30

Coach and Cochran practice their Tai Chi and says that he is going to get him the strength to win the challenge today. Cochran says that the “Coach Chi”, is really good. Immunity Challenge time and they are going to have to toss bags on a box and the first 3 to do it are going to move on. Albert, Rick and Sophie move into the final where they have to shoot coconuts at three targets. It is a close game and it is eventually Albert who wins the immunity and reward of a day at the Spa. He brings Coach with him. However, he says that he is going to give up his reward to Cochran.

Cochran and Coach get to the reward and Coach says that the water is scented. Cochran comes clean about the white lie about his date of his birthday, but doesn’t tell anyone about it. They enjoy the massage and Coach tells Cochran that he will fight to keep him alive in the competition. Afterward, Cochran goes up to Albert and asks why he was nice and giving away the reward. He says that he would rather see Rick get voted out. Cochran tells Albert that Rick calls him Princess Albert and this makes Albert angry and says that he is definitely voting for him now. Cochran manages to get Edna on board with it and talks to Coach. However, he is not sure which way he is going to vote.

Tribal council time and the 7 contestants come out and the members of the jury come in as well. Coach says that the possibilities are endless with the vote and Cochran says that he knows that he feels duped because he feels entitled to being saved. Edna says that she is sad because she is being deceived. Brandon says that he is voting Cochran and then Edna because they are united with the original plan. Brandon gets emotional and says that he can’t do wrong. Cochran says that talking strategy with Brandon is not good. They vote and it is Cochran with 3 votes and Rick with 2 votes. Cochran is voted off to Redemption Island.
