Like his partner Rocksteady, Bebop was once human, before he voluntered to undergo a dangerous experiment with Mutagen to gain abilities that could help him defeat the Ninja Turtles in retaliation for being humiliated by them. During the experiment, he was paired with a Warthog, and took on the apperance of one. Initially ruthless, Bebop gradually become goofy, once even sending The Techodrome to the depths of the ocean during a tug of war over a comic with Rocksteady.

Bebop has often reunited both himself and Rocksteady with members of their old gang in efforts to defeat the Turtles, but has often come up short. He presently resides in Dimension X with his buddy, and have been stuck there since The Technodrome's destruction, what has happened to them now presently remains a mystery

"...Donatello does machines! (That's a fact!)"

Donatello is the mechanic of the group. He built the Turtle Van, the Turtle Blimp, the Cheap Skates, and more. He is extremely intelligent and is a college graduate. Donatello wields a "bo staff," which is a staff with tape gauge wrapped around the center for handling, preventing splinters. Donatello is an excellent ninja and always ready for a battle.

Don is also the least interested in romantic interaction, preferring to use his mentality for more constructive objectives than fawning over a girl. However, that has not stopped him from gaining his share of affectionate displays from April, or his best friend Irma, whom it is implied more than once has a mutual love for him that stretches beyond the realm of platonic, though time and changes prevented this from ever being fully explored.
