After living a life of peace John and Sarah once again keep running, leaving behind their life and the people that loved them. A new terminator is sent back to protect John and one is sent back to terminate him. In order to prevent his death and judgment day, John, Cameron, and Sarah hide in the one place nobody will ever think to find them.

In the original unaired pilot, the first shooting took place in a school. The network forced them to change that scene because of the Virginia Tech school shooting. Although this show had the original pilot filmed before the shootings even happened. | This episode scored 18.29 million viewers. | Agent Ellison is named after s.f. writer Harlan Ellision. Ellison sued James Cameron for copyright infringement for "borrowing" the ideas of time travel and humanoid robots from his Outer Limits stories "Soldier" and "Demon With a Glass Hand", respectively. Ellison succeeded in getting a credit in The Terminator movie. |

The series has informed that the pilot episode took place two years after Terminator 2: Judgment Day. However in Terminator 2 the show was set in 1995 and Judgment Day was set for 1997. The pilot took place in 1999 which would be four years after Terminator 2. |
