Brothers of Nablus - Recap

<-- Previous EpisodeNext Episode -->
James Ellison sits at his desk eating when someone knocks on his door. When he opens it, the door is pushed back into his face knocking him to the floor and he sees himself, or rather a Terminator that has taken his appearance. The Terminator points a gun at him and prepares to kill him when a silvery sword-like object appears through his chest from behind and then a hand comes through clutching what appears to pass for a Terminator's heart, some type of electro-mechanical device, and the Ellison Terminator falls dead to the floor, revealing the Cromartie Terminator holding the heart. Ellison wants to know why Cromartie saved him, thinking that all the Terminators work together. Cromartie says that he and Skynet have different ideas, and Cromartie believes Ellison will lead him to the Connors.

Sarah, John and Cameron return home to find their house has been broken into and ransacked. A search finds the perpetrators have left.

Derek awakes next to Jesse at the sound of his ringing phone. The call is from an upset and annoyed Sarah who tells him they have been robbed of everything, including cash, diamonds, and food, but particularly bad was their new fakes IDs. The theft of the food indicates the thieves were human and they agree to meet later and hangup. Jesse inquires who called and Derek tells her the real world, kisses her and leaves.

Sarah asks John why his security alarm system failed to work. Cameron reveals that Riley climbed out of John's window so the alarm system must have been off. Sarah learns that John gave Riley the code to their system. She is upset that their new IDs are now at large and could lead the police back to their new home. Cameron suggests they move to Canada, which is ignored. Kacy arrives and surveys the damage with concern but Sarah calms her saying it is just some of John's schoolmates giving him some trouble. Sarah and Cameron leave to meet Derek while John is left to clean up the mess.

At the runaway shelter where Cameron was staying while she malfunctioned, Rita is being harassed by her supervisor to update their records. She tells him she is working to get their backlog finished and finally gets to Cameron's file, scanning her picture into their system.

Cromartie is out driving when he receives a copy of the scanned photo of Cameron. He arrives at the shelter and asks about Cameron, claiming to be her uncle. An overworked Rita tells to go to the end of the line. Nearby, Jody who originally brought Cameron to the shelter pipes up, telling Cromartie she knows Cameron. She does not believe he is her uncle, she thinks he is a cop. He tells her he isn't, and when Jody asks if he is going to hurt Cameron, he says yes. Jody also reveals that she knows John, and inadvertently tells Cromartie the name John is currently using, John Baum. Cromartie asks her to go with him.

Ellison is at home when there is a knock at the door. The police are there and they arrest him for the murder of Peter Myers.

Sarah, Cameron and Derek go to a jewelry store who also operates as a fence for stolen items, looking for the diamonds that were taken from their home. He denies having their diamonds but shows them other diamonds that he claims are from legitimate sources. Cameron examines them and confirms they are the ones that were stolen from them but the fence is dubious. Derek says they want no trouble, just the name of the legitimate source that sold the fence the diamonds. The fence says since they are friends of Jesse, he will tell them, naming Walter Ostrowski and they leave. Outside, Sarah asks Derek who Jesse is and he lies, telling her that Jesse was a man that came back with him and was killed.

Jody and Cromartie are in the car and she is directing him to where Cameron was originally arrested by the police after she malfunctioned. The place is a supermarket and they enter just after John and Riley pass by. John and Riley are there to replace the food that was stolen from John's house.

At the police station, Ellison is one of five black men in a lineup in front of a witness who ends up picking Ellison as the man he saw kill Peter Myers. The detective in charge tries to get Ellison to confess but he asks to see his lawyer. Detective Kaplan jokingly asks if Ellison has a twin brother and the realization sets in that the Terminator that looks like him must have killed Myers.

Sarah and Cameron arrive at Dr. Ostrowski's office and when they ask about their stuff, he runs. Cameron chases him down and he says he has Moishe's (the fence) money in his office. Sarah realizes Ostrowski is not the one who robs him and lets him go, but makes sure to get the money he owes Moishe.

Sarah, Cameron and Derek bust back in to Moishe's office and threaten him with a gun. He finally gives up the name of the real person who sold him their diamonds, Tristan Dewitt.

Cromartie and Jody continue searching for Cameron by going door to door. Jody is doubtful but Cromartie says an employee at the supermarket said Cameron and John shopped there frequently, so he figures they live within one mile of the store. Jody gets impatient and asks to be returned to the shelter but Cromartie tires of her mouth and throws her literally out of the car and leaves.

Derek arrives back at the hotel where Jesse is staying to find her lounging at the pool. He tells her her friend Moishe is being to free with her name and she says she will talk to him.

Cromartie arrives at Kacy's house and shows her Cameron's picture. She gets a bad vibe from him and denies knowing Cameron. Cromartie asks about the vacant house next door and Kacy tells him it has been rented.

In the house next door John and Riley are putting away the groceries they just bought when Kacy calls, warning John about Cromartie. There is a knock on the door and John peers around the corner to see Cromartie on his porch. He tries to get Riley to leave with him but she pulls away saying she will get rid of him. As she answers the door, John retrieves a shotgun and as quietly as possible, loads a shell into the chamber. Cromartie hears the barely audible click and barges into the house. He looks around but does not find anyone else and leaves.

Sarah and Cameron speak with Tristan Dewitt's parents and discover he is a 34 year old loser who lives with his parents and robs people for a living. They find out he works at a video store and leave.

Catherine Weaver visits Ellison at the police station. He professes his innocence and she quickly surmises he has something to tell her that only she will believe, namely that a Terminator is responsible but he will not speak about it at the station. She promises to be in touch and he thanks her for believing him.

Sarah and Cameron are driving when Sarah gets a call from her credit card company that someone just made a charge to her card at a bowling alley. Cromartie gets the information too, now that he knows the last name they are using.

Detective Kaplan speaks to the witness again about Ellison killing Myers. The questioning reveals more about the incident, including a crater in the road and an energy bubble indicating a Terminator appearance. Detective Kaplan is not surprised by this revelation.

At the bowling alley, Dewitt is talking to his two buddies about making a movie now that they have money when Sarah and Cameron arrive. They guys try to talk tough until Cameron pulls a gun and demand they return all the items they stole. Sarah notices four pairs of shoes and asks Dewitt where the fourth guy is and he refuses to admit there is one. Sarah tells Cameron to stay there while she looks for him and as she walks away, Cameron kills the three men, saying the men knew where they lived. Sarah enters the men's room and finds the last young man, clearly scared to death. Even though he participated in the robbery and knows where they live, she lets him go, telling him if he ever tells anyone, she will hunt him down and kill him. She leaves the men's room and lies to Cameron saying it was clear.

Detective Kaplan meets with Ellison in the station and tells him he is free to go. Ellison is confused but Kaplan tells him his witness turns out to be a flake and they have no case. Kaplan leaves the station and morphs into Catherine Weaver.

Derek returns to Moishe's place and finds him dead. He looks around and finds Jesse who obviously had more than a talk with Moishe. They take all the diamonds they can find and leave.

Ellison is sitting in his car watching his ex-wife's house when she surprises him and gets in the passenger seat. He laments that things have changed and she asks him to come inside but he refuses.

Sarah and Cameron return home where John is finishing up repairing the damage the burglars did. There is a confrontation about Riley and John accuses Sarah of not liking Riley because he enjoyed spending time with her. Sarah tells him she is just trying to protect him and will always do so. John asks why she failed to protect him from having to kill Sarkissian.

Ellison speaks with Catherine at her office about why he was arrested. She guess he met his twin and he says he was being tested like Job, but was spared. Catherine wants to know who spared him.

Cromartie arrives at the bowling alley before the fourth young man leaves and captures him. He asks where the got the stolen credit card and the young man says the woman promised to kill him if he spoke. Cromartie promises that won't happen as the episode ends.
