The title of this episode is a quote from the first episode of the series where Cromartie first appears as a substitute teacher at John and Cameron's school.

John: I bought her (Riley) a helmet.
Sarah: Responsible. do you think it'll stop a bullet?
John: Why, you going to take a shot at her?
Sarah: Well a lot of bullets fly around here, someone will.

Cameron: You bring danger into Riley's life.
John: I know that, I'm not stupid.
Cameron: But sometimes you do stupid things. It would help me to understand why.
John: Humans do stupid things, so don't worry about it and be happy you're a machine.
Cameron: I'm a machine, I can't be happy.

Cameron: I understand that being John Conner can be lonely.
John: Oh yeah? How do you understand that?
Cameron: You and I talk about it a lot.
John: We do?
Cameron: We do, we will.

Mexican Police Chief: (talking about John) Run his name through Interpol.
Manny: Yes sir. (To John) So which name should I run, hmm? The one on your passport or the real one?

Cameron: I gotta find John.
Derek: We're no good to him dead.
Cameron: I can't let anything happen to him.

Sarah: You want answers?
James: I just want to know my role in all of this. What happens after this?
Sarah: This is it, there's nothing else behind the curtain. This is what I do, it's all I do. You already know why I do it.

Cromartie: The boy told me, the one from the bowling alley.

In episode 2x07, Brothers of Nablus, Sarah and Cameron track down the young men who robbed their house, but Sarah leaves one guy alive.

James: I owed you one. The fire? Silberman's cabin?

In episode 1x07, The Demon Hand, Ellison follows clues that leads him to Dr. Silberman, who almost kills him but for Sarah's intervention.
