Sarah travels to a UFO convention to find answers to the three dots she sees written in blood on her basement wall and in her dreams. She sees a presentation of photos taken of aerial drones of unknown origin, drones that have 3 dot logos on their surface. The drones seem to be confirmed by the blog of a man named Abraham, who claims to be working on a top secret project using alien technology. The presenter has no idea who Abraham is or where he can be found. A woman she meets gives her a lead on Abraham and she sets off to find him, calling John and letting him know she will be late...

Episode Notes
After traveling through the time displacement device, Riley arrived covered in dirt, which must mean it counts as organic material.

Episode Quotes
Sarah: (to the UFO seminar leader) My son thinks I'm crazy, maybe not crazy, maybe that's the wrong word. But he doubts me, he's never doubted me before.

Cameron: You didn't buy me a smoothie.
Riley: I'm sorry, I didn't know you were here.
Cameron: I'm always here.

Jesse: (to Riley, in the future) Pretty girl. What's your name?

Catherine: (speaking of John Henry) This body is merely a puppet, an interface. We control him, you control him (hands James a remote control device).
James: (James turns John Henry off and hands the remote back to Catherine) And when John Henry completes his development? When he realizes what his puppet is capable of, do you know how powerful he'll be?
Catherine: Cows are more powerful than man Mr. Ellison, but I'd still rather be the farmer with the rifle.

Park: (to Sarah) We nearly died! You don't feel it. Why don't you feel it?

visual: Jesse hits Riley in the face.
Jesse: I'm not here to babysit, and you're not here to feel sorry for yourself. I'm not your friend, I am not your mother! And you are here to keep John Connor away from her! (referring to Cameron) Go and finish your job. Go.

James: Who taught you how to play chess?
John Henry: I did.
James: Did you play with Dr. Sherman?
John Henry: No. We played other games. Talking games.
James: Do you miss Dr. Sherman?
John Henry: I'm designed to learn. He helped me learn. His absence slows my growth.
James: His absence is more important than that. His value was more than just his function for you. Human beings aren't like chess pieces. It matters if we live or die.
John Henry: Why does it matter? All humans die eventually.
James: Yes, that's true. But, our lives are...are sacred. Do you know what sacred means?
John Henry: Holy. Worthy of respect. Venerable.
James: Do you know why human life is sacred?
John Henry: Because so few humans are alive compared to the number that are dead?
James: No. Because we're God's creation. God made everything. The stars, the earth, everything on this planet. We are all God's children.
John Henry: Am I a God's child?
James: That's one of the things we're here to talk about.
John Henry: Checkmate. I win. Would you like to play again?

Cultural References
James Ellison refers to September 11, 2001 as a time that changed his wife's mind about having children. That is the date of four suicide attacks on US targets by al-Qaeda terrorists.

Episode References
Catherine: (to James) John Henry needs someone to talk to, now that Dr. Sherman is gone.
James: Dr. Sherman is gone because he, it killed him.

In episode 2x10, Strange Things Happen at the One Two Point, Dr. Boyd Sherman died due to the self-preservation progamming of the AI program at Zeira Corp.

James: (to Catherine, referring to John Henry/Cromartie) That thing killed 20 FBI agents.

In episode 1x09, What He Beheld, Cromartie is posing as an FBI agent and Ellison and an FBI strike team track him down, only to be slaughtered.
