well, i just watched it and while i wasn't overly impressed, i wasn't disappointed either. the beginning was the best part where sarah was dreaming. it was done pretty well. the rest was alright including the end. i wasn't sure how they were gonna handle getting to our present. i like how the did it with the time machine hidden in the bank.
summer glau was an excellent cast as the "good" terminator. as was the guy from The Nine as the "bad" terminator. summer plays this kind of role perfectly. it was also nice to see dean winters (Rescue Me, Oz) in this too.
Lena Heady was another good casting move. she may have been the best thing in 24's first season. she's a good hard ass. she shouldn't disappoint.
as for the guy playing john... time will tell. the jury's still out.
i keep up with this. it's better than most of the stuff out there right now. |

Well the pilot was leaked out months ago but I liked what I saw. I'll keep watching it to see how the rest of it comes out. |

I wasn't overly thrilled with it either, but it wasn't bad by any means. It started out very good -- good acting, good writing -- but it kinda petered out at the end.
I agree on the casting thing. The producers (or whoever) did an excellent job with the cast. The acting was stellar.
I'll definitely check it out tomorrow night. |

Got a phone call (taped it) but had one eye on the show and I wasn't impressed yet.
If ALL it's going to be is a shoot-and-miss and then run-away and then find and then shoot-and-miss again I'm not going to watch. This show had better develop some more interesting plot lines, and soon. |

It looks like an expensive show, but comparing it to the movies is inevitable, and the TV format comes up short. The "good" Terminator is too human, and the "bad" Terminator is not menacing enough. I found the dramatic pause before killing to be particularly annoying. The Terminators from the movies did not wait for their Kodak moment before pulling the trigger.
The production values are good, and I'll keep watching for now, but I wonder how they can make this story work in this format. Like guytwo said, if we are basically going to watch the same episode every week, what's the point?

It was definitely better then a lot of the other new Sci Fi shows from last year. Trash Gordon, PainKillmeJane, Bionic Woman all kinda blew...
I'll give this series time. I may just come to like it.
Does Summer Glau always play the super chick? |

It's ok so far, I have to keep watching it to see how it goes, but it's still better than most stuff out there right now. Check that, there's isn't much stuff out there right now except for reality crap, so I'll watch this for a couple of weeks. |

And right then, it will be cancelled. :-)
Network programming is almost as much of a mystery as women.

If its not animated it won't last on Fox. Cartoon characters don't go on strike. Maybe Scifi channel will pick it up. |

i think it will last the season. the premiere was quite big. it doesn't hurt that the writers strike leaves viewers, and hater of "reality TV", with little else. it's interesting enough for me to keep tuning in, plot holes or not. |
