• FOX kills The Sarah Connor Chronicles

An outpouring of fan support over the past several weeks apparently wasn't enough to save "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" from FOX's ax.

The network's announcement of its 2009-10 schedule is imminent, and by nearly all accounts the two-year-old series won't be part of it. The word comes a month after the show's finale dropped a rather major plot twist and a few days after FOX picked up "T:SCC's" Friday-night companion this season, "Dollhouse," for next year.

"The Sarah Connor Chronicles" averaged about 5.3 million viewers per week this season, only about half of what it drew last season (and even if you take out the show's big post-football premiere in 2008, the first season still averaged better than 8 million viewers a week.

This is very disappointing, Sarah Connor is one of the best shows on TV last season.

Yeah, at first I didn't really like the show all that much, but it grew on me.

Agreed, I enjoyed it a lot.

I am so sick of the reality/cop shows that dominate our primetime that I have been watching TLC, NGTV, and DISC every night. Where have all the 'Drama' shows gone?

Sad news. Really liked the last season especially the last few eps. Going to miss this show. But then again, Chuck got renewed which is the best news ever !

I would love to see Sci-Fi pick it up and continue the series. Of ALL the shows cancelled for this year that was my favorite, how Lame-O!

Viewership went down only because FOX was stupid enough to move it to Friday nights, the 2nd worst night of the week after Saturday to watch regular TV as most of us are watching the shows on Sci-Fi or were?
