I just finished watching episode 2.14, "The Good Wound". The Sarah Connor Chronicles has hit its stride. There's is so much to love about this show. Lena Headey has made the role of Sarah Connor her own. Brian Austin Green is fantastic as Derek Reese, and Summer Glau remains peerless as an actress, even though she's playing a robot.
The second season started off unevenly, with some episodes being great, while others seemed a little slow. Josh Friedman seems to have finally got a grip on what he wants this show to be, and if you haven't been watching it, now is the time.
"The Good Wound" is the midseason premiere after the fall/winter hiatus, and it picks up where "Earthling Welcome Here" left off. Sarah has been shot in the leg, Riley attempted suicide, and the repercussions are starting to flow. It feels like the first part of the season was all setup, and now we'll get all the answers in the last part of the season.
Do not ignore this show. If you are a Terminator fan, you won't be disappointed. If you are not a Terminator fan, you will be. The move to Friday nights is concerning because Fridays are usually were shows go to die. I hope that doesn't happen with TSCC. This is good television.
