The doctor is a psychologist, and the investigation turns into therapy for John. Not coincidentally, Catherine starts seeing the same therapist to assist with her relationship with Savannah, leading to a larger Skynet interest. A woman from Derek's future appears in the present and Derek tries to learn why.
