Meanwhile, reluctant Laurie looks after a young baby, becoming deeply attached and broody stirring up feelings in Kitty about having another baby.

The two end up on their first date, have their first kiss but Jackie feels nothing. Meanwhile, Red's annual Veteran's Day BBQ is in jeopardy when Bob announces he too is throwing a Veterans Day BBQ. Both families try to one up each other but when it comes to light that Bob's business is going under, the Foreman's move their guests over tot Bob's, allowing his last big shot to be a success.
