Raven Symone officially begins her rising actress/musician career in this sitcom, comedy aired on Disney Channel about a pyschic teenage girl. Her visions in the show are sometimes bad things and sometimes good. While Raven gets these visions, she often times tries to prevent the not-so-good ones as well, getting herself into tricky situations which often times include dressing up as someone who she's not (IE: A police officer, a dancer, a plumber etc. etc.) One episode also included a music video where Raven dreams of herself being a famous singer...singing a song titled, "Some Call it Magic". That episode officially began her music career...and truthfully the song is very catchy and describes her character, Raven Baxter, quite well. The other actors/actresses in this show include, Orlando Brown as Raven's best guy-friend, Eddie, and at the end of the show's airing her "kind of" boyfriend/crush. The cast also included, Kyle Massey as Raven's Brother, Corey, who grew up following Disney Channel as a teenager and gained his own Television series called, "Corey in the House" which was a "bounce off" of "That's So Raven". Anneliese van der Pol is another actress on the show who plays Raven's ditsy best friend, Chelsea, who was air-headed and enjoyable (although sometimes annoying) who was featured on one of Disney Channel's CD's singing a cover of an original Disney Channel song...she dissapeared after "That's So Raven" was canceled and hasn't been doing much with acting or music lately. All in all, "That's So Raven" was very much enjoyable, while not always the funniest, but with an excellent plot line that balanced "teenage" with "supernatural."
