The teams are off to Anniston, Alabama were they will need to locate the world's largest office chair for their next clue which sends them to Alabama Motorsports Hall of Fame where they will receive their next clue. The next clue is a roadblock that all the family members will participate in which directs them to Talladega Super Speedway. The Weavers immediately realize that they will have to face a huge mental fear of setting foot on a race track which will bring up memories of their father who died at a track. When they arrive at the detour they realize they are not driving a car around the track but a party bike. The teams complete this task and receive their next clue that tells them to head to Hattiesburg, Mississippi and find Southern Colonel trailer homes. The Schroeder get lost and Stassi becomes incredibly upset. The teams will depart in 20 minute increments depending on what trailer home they picked to spend the night in. Their clue instructs them to go to Richland, Mississippi BP station and find a man named Les who will give them their next clue. The next clue tells them is to go to the Pelican State which is Louisiana and complete a detour, a choice between work or play . Work is to cut two 12 inch pieces off each end of a log an play is to win 3 hands of 21 against a dealer. Once they complete the detour they head to Preservation Hall in New Orleans and transport 4 different instruments to a jazz club. The Schroeder who are from Louisiana get lost while trying to find Preservation Hall a mistake which causes them to be the last team at the pit stop and are eliminated. ..
