I Don't Roll With The Punches, I Punch - Recap

The Godlewski's depart the pit stop first with their first clue telling them to drive to Mesa, Arizona and find Fighter Combat International. The sisters immediately begin fighting with each other and the Linz's get pulled over by a cop allowing the Weaver's to take over first place. Once they arrive at their destination they discover it doesn't open until 4:30am allowing all the teams to catch up including the Bransen's who had to beg for money from locals. When the Fighter Combat International opened they opened their next clue which is a roadblock. One team member must board a fighter plane and take instructions from the pilot to do a 360 degree loop. Rolly Weaver, Sharon Godlewski and Megan Linz all went up in the first heat and completed it no problem receiving their next clue telling them to drive to the Grand Canyon and find Lipan Point. Brian Paolo and Lauren Bransen head up next and both fail their first attempt but are successful their second time. The Bransen's decided to stop and ask for directions while the Paolo's decided to find it on their own. On the way to Lipan Point the Weaver's throw garbage out their window at the Godlewski's and tell a toll both attendant to delay the Linz's. The Weaver's arrive at Lipan Point first and receive their next clue where they will have to drive 137 miles to Page, Arizona and find Glen Canyon Dam. Once at the Dam the teams need to find a guide to bring them to the clue box and the Linz's and the Godlewski's pull ahead of the Weaver's and retrieve their next clue. This time their clue is a detour where they have to chose between two options Bearing and Bailing. In Bearing, teams board a motorized raft and choose a colored card giving them a compass coordinate. Then they have to use that coordinate on a compass to get to the next coordinate finding three in all to receive their next clue. In Bailing. teams also board a motorized raft and choose a submerged boat. They will have to bail as much water as possible out of the boat making it light enough to carry to a marked location and receive their next clue. The Weaver's are the only team to choose Bearing and have little trouble completing the task. The Godlewski's and Linz's have a little fun with the Bailing task and begin having a water fight but complete the task. The three teams received their next clue telling them to head to Lake Powell and find Antelope Point and search for Phil and the pit stop. Meanwhile back at the detour the Bransen's and Paolo's are in a fight for fourth place. Arriving at Antelope Point the Linz's believe they may finally have a first place victory but end up not being able to find the marked path to the boats and are neck and neck with the Godlewski sisters. The Godlewski's pull ahead at the last second and claim first place again pushing the Linz's to second. The Weaver arrive in third an whine about how the other teams are treating them saying they are the only family trying to lead a Christan life and the other teams are classless. The Bransen's arrive in fourth place and the Paolo's are eliminated from the race.
