1x12: The Oath recap: The scene opens with Sanford meeting Elizabeth. She tells him she doesn’t like surprises. Sandford says he recruited a Colonel and says he has information. He says he will give it to her for $50,000. He says the Colonel is crazy and hates the Reagan Administration. Elizabeth tells him she needs to know what she is buying and tells Sanford they will talk later. Nina is called into Arkady’s office. He tells her she has to direct the activities of Directorate S. He hands her a piece of paper and a pin. He tells her to read the Oath of the new position out loud. Phillip and Elizabeth talk about the Colonel and he asks her if she talked to Paige about her eating dinner at his place. Elizabeth says she has. 1x11: Covert War recap: The scene opens with Agent Gadd talking to the agents telling them that 3 KGB Officers at this moment are being hunted down and killed in Moscow including General Zhukov, the Head of Directorate “S”. At that moment in Moscow, an Agent come in and kills General Zhukov. In America, Elizabeth takes Beeman’s wife, Sandra, out for drinks. She asks Elizabeth if she has ever dated someone from another country. Elizabeth says that she hasn’t. Sandra gets really drunk and asks Elizabeth if she had ever thought of cheating. Elizabeth asks Sandra if anything is going on with her and Sandra says that there isn’t. They decide to dance. At the hotel, Paige and Henry are with Phillip and they have a lot of questions. 1x10: Only You recap: The scene opens with Elizabeth returning Phillip to the hotel. Elizabeth tells him not to replay it in his mind. Phillip is not happy with his new accommodations. At the FBI, Gadd talks to the other agents and says that they are going to hunt down whoever is responsible for the murder of Amador. Martha goes to Beeman and says that she is sorry and says that Amador asked her out again right before he died. She is clearly upset about this. 1x9: Safe House recap: The scene opens with Elizabeth and Phillip at the dinner table with Paige and Henry. Elizabeth says that they need to talk. She tells them that Phillip is going to be sleeping somewhere else for a while. Paige thinks that it is a joke, but Elizabeth says that they have been fighting a lot. Paige and Henry don’t like it and Paige says that it is all Elizabeth’s fault. That evening, Phillip tries to talk to Henry, but he is not interested in opening the door. Phillip tells Henry that he loves him. Phillip gathers his things and tells her that he will see her tomorrow at the Beeman’s. 1x8: Mutually Assured Destruction recap: The scene opens with Elizabeth listening to a code. She decodes it. Phillip comes back from playing Racketball and finds Elizabeth in the kitchen. He says that he missed her. She tells him that they have to stop an assassin. It is one of theirs and that they have no information about the assassin except for the names of scientists who are the targets. Phillip tells her that they are having dinner with the Beemans on Wednesday. Later that evening, they watch as a scientist is helping his wife in the car. Phillip has planted a bomb in the engine. The scientist gets out because the car won’t start. He sees the bomb and gets his wife to safety. Phillip detonates the bomb to get their attention. At the FBI, Gadd talks to his team and tells them that they have to protect the scientists because the KGB might know about them.
