Recap

Andy arrives home one afternoon to discover Aunt Bee sitting on the porch gazing with a kind of romantic adoration upon itinerant handyman Henry Wheeler. Bee invites Wheeler to dinner. She persuades the handyman to remain the night with promises of odd jobs to be performed about the house on the morrow. The next day Andy is stuck with the odd jobs while Wheeler takes Aunt Bee on a picnic. Wheeler strings Bee along, playing upon her kindness and romantic vulnerability to get free meals and other goodies. Andy grows suspicious. In a conversation with a lawman in another county, he discovers Wheeler has been practicing the same game upon other vulnerable women. Andy makes it clear to Wheeler that there will be serious consequences if he hurts Aunt Bee's heart. Wheeler gets in his truck and slips away as quickly as he can. ..
