Bailey's Bad Boy - Recap

Ronald Bailey is the 19 year old son of rich parents. After running an aged farmer off the road, Ronald is arrested and taken to the Mayberry jail. His attempts to intimidate Andy with his father's importance and power fail. Andy allows Ronald out of jail now and then to get a taste of life in Mayberry and to enjoy the goodness of its citizens. Ronald is humbled and realizes how meanly he has behaved. When Ronald is given the chance to squeeze out of the charges against him, he chooses not to play the spoiled kid but opts instead to manfully face the consequences of his actions.
