1 :01x01 - Once Upon a Time
To become Martha Stewart's apprentice sixteen fresh faces arrive in NYC and are split into two teams, their first task is to create a children's book. One candidate forces his team to accept a risky storyline while another relies solely upon the advice of a makeshift focus group. The losing team faces Martha Stewart in her conference room and one member is sent home.
2 :01x02 - Business is Blooming
To not be dismissed this week the teams open a New York flower show. One team's PM can't handle the growing tension on his team and decides to quit while the other team's leader makes a pricing decision that may cost them the win. The losing team faces Martha Stewart in the conference room and the second person is sent home.
3 :01x03 - Bake It 'Til You Make It
It's cake time as both teams create, bake and sell a wedding cake at a Wedding Expo in NYC. One candidate makes an inappropriate remark to Charles while another receives news that his wife has given birth back home. The winning team celebrates with New York's most famous newlywed couple while the losers face Martha in the conference room where the third candidate is sent home.
4 :01x04 - Sweet Suite
The final 13 candidates design and build a themed lifestyle suite for a New York hotel. One team's bravado wanes as they question their project manager's rash decisions and style while another team's lengthy strategizing may cost them the time needed to finish the task. Martha Stewart rewards the winning team with a personal visit and meets the losers in her conference room where someone is sent home.
5 :01x05 - Mixed Greens
The remaining candidates are given the task of creating and selling a new salad dressing at two local food markets. One team questions its recipe while the other team struggles with a member whose inappropriate comments may get the team members kicked out of the store It's a heated conference room where the fifth candidate is sent home.
6 :01x06 - Every Dog Has His Day

The last 11 candidates meet with six celebrities and their dogs to negotiate a personal experience that will be auctioned off for charity. On one side, a project manager is overcome with arrogance and guarantees a victory while the other team deals with members that have no bark and no bite. The conference room awaits the losers.
7 :01x07 - Swimming Against the Tide
The two teams take to the streets of New York City with a billboard campaign on wheels as they promote a stain remover stick. One team's concept is all washed up while the other group goes for a knockout punch. The winners enjoy breakfast with Martha at her Bedford farm and the losers must plead their case in the conference room.
8 :01x08 - Don't Touch that Dial
The challenge for the eight remaining candidates with the task of selling an outdoor product live on QVC. While one team watches two members battle each other for the most screen time, the other team watches as one of its members suffers performance anxiety that causes a last minute substitution. The losing team meets Martha in the conference room where one more is sent home.
9 :01x09 - The Coffee Achievers
When Martha asks the teams to create a pop-up retail space to sell a new coffee machine, one rogue candidate spends the team's budget on an expensive public relations firm. The other team sandbags its leader when they disagree with the sales plan. Martha Stewart invites the winning team to her vacation home in Maine and the losing team to the conference room where someone is sent home.
10 :01x10 - A Ridiculous Display
The fine six candidates rumble into the automotive world, building showroom launch displays for a new Buick sedan. One team changes lanes midway through the project and alters its vision while 2/3 of the other threesome keep arguing with one another. A dinner with some of the biggest names at MSLO awaits the winners while the losers face a collision course in the conference room.
11 :01x11 - Final Approach
Both teams must create a 30-second promotional video for an airline. One candidate celebrates the last group task with a few drinks on the job. The other team suffers through one member acting like a Hollywood director. In her conference room, Martha Stewart sends another person home.
12 :01x12 - The Empire Strikes Back
Martha top executives from MSLO meet with the remaining three candidates and one is sent home. The final tasks are delivered; one candidate struggles with the job of running a one-ring circus and fails to garner support from the former teammates who have been chosen to help. Buried in the details of running a fashion show, the other candidate’s creative vision is called into question.
13 :01x13 - The Finale
In live finale we see the culmination of the final two tasks, a cast reunion and the live conference room hiring where the newest Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia employee will receive a $250,000 'apprenticeship' working alongside Stewart and her executives
