Recap

The show opened with Ashley S. being chosen, via date card, to go on a one on one date with the Bachelor, Brad Womack. He whisked Ashley away via limousine to the famed Capitol Records studio where together they sang a song entitled, "A Kiss from a Rose", which just so happened to be Ashley's father's favorite song. Ashley's father is deceased and when Ashley heard it, it brought tears to her eyes. She mentioned to Brad that it had been her dad's favorite tune and just how much it meant to her, even though she cried each time she heard it on the radio or elsewhere. Brad apologized profusely, saying that he had had no idea it would make her cry, but she said to go ahead with the record, don't mind her. Wiping her tears away, Ashley and Brad tried again to sing the song, but didn't sound professional. Nevertheless, they seemed to have a good time and went next door to another studio where they listened to a professional singer sing the song. Brad and Ashley S. seemed to greatly enjoy that and when they retired to the Capitol's roof to have dinner under the stars, the two cuddled, kissed and Brad handed her another rose, which seemed to make her very happy...
