The Batman: The Big Chill

Robbing a yacht, Mr. Freeze becomes the city's newest jewel thief. Then, after being trapped by Mr. Freeze, The Batman learns that Mr. Freeze was once a regular criminal. Now, with a special suit that was built to fight in weather conditions like this, Batman goes after Mr. Freeze for one final fight.

Episode Notes
The series' take on Mr. Freeze differs from the one used on Batman: The Animated Series, that was subsequently adopted for the mainstream DC comics.

Episode Goofs
Continuity:
The Batmobile is covered in frost when Mr. Freeze freezes the battle zone around the two of them. Then, Batman call the Batmobile which is now frost-free.

Batman managed to destroy a block of ice by running into it with heat pointers on his gloves... how is this possible?

Continuity:
When Mr. Freeze flees the jewelry store, he's holding a bag of priceless jewels with his right hand. Later in the scene that bag appeared in his left hand without Mr. Freeze having moved it there.



Cultural References
Alfred: All work and no play makes Bruce Wayne a dull boy.

Alfred is making a reference to the famous saying: "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy" when he says the quote above.

Mr. Freeze: Baby, it's cold outside.

When Mr. Freeze says this, he's making a reference to the song "Baby, It's Cold Outside" by Bobby Caldwell and Vanessa Williams.
