Episode Goofs

If Cluemaster is telling the truth about his diet, he shouldn't be alive right now. He would have died of a heart attack or severe diabetes years ago.

How could Cluemaster walk over to the Batman? Due to his body type and his weight, he should have either broken his legs or hips.

It is mentioned that Yelena's family defected from the Soviet Union, which means Arthur got his Kremelos in, at the least, in the 1980's. How could he keep them fresh for such a long period of time?

In the beginning teaser, we see Cluemaster driving a garbage truck. Due to his bulk, he should not have been able to drive it.

During Yelena's chess match, she claims to be moving her bishop, though the type of move that she is doing is impossible for a bishop to do.

Artie claims that the show cheated him, since they said the answer he gave was wrong. Though many facts have proved that Artie was wrong.

The way that the checker board is set up at the end of the episode leaves no possibility for Alfred or Bruce to win.

Cultural References

Visual: The Getaway Car

The getaway car that Cluemaster's henchmen use to escape with looks like the getaway car used in the movie "The Italian Job (1969)."

Visual: The Batmobile coming through the fake bus's side.

This scene is a reference to the show "Knight Rider"

Analysis

Batman: Knight takes Bishop.

When Batman says this, he's making a reference to himself. In the comic books and other pop culture, Batman is referred to as "The Dark Knight." Batman, however, has yet to gain that name in this show's continuity.
