The Big Bang Theory: The Gothowitz Deviation

Sheldon is getting sick of Penny’s misbehavior, and decides to do something about it. He uncovers that Penny has a “thing” for chocolate, and decides to use it in order for her to get a better mood and behavior towards him. Meanwhile, Raj and Howard want to pick up women, and their newest attempt has them dressed like Goths and going to a Goth nightclub, where they try to impress the women, but it doesn’t go flawless.

Episode Quotes
Penny: (to Howard) Did the KISS army repeal don't ask, don't tell?

Cultural References
Visual: Leonard, Penny and Sheldon are watching the animated show "Oshikuru: Demon Samurai".

This is a reference to an episode of "Two and a Half Men" ("The Salmon Under My Sweater") where the characters Jake and Charlie are collaborating on the show's theme song. These two series are both created by Chuck Lorre.

Wolowitz: Did you even read the wikiHow link I sent you on being Goth?

Howard is clearly referencing the wikiHow article known as "How to Be Goth", and is talking about this link: http://www.wikihow.com/Be-Goth
