While having lunch at the lab’s cafeteria, Leonard and Sheldon are introduced to a 15-year-old boy prodigy who happens to be equally as smart as or even smarter than Sheldon, which has him angrier than ever. Knowing everything he will do in the future will somehow be corrected by the boy, Sheldon stops working at the lab and instead tries to help his fellow friends with their experiments, but they are less than happy about it. Finding out that Sheldon really needs to become the best achiever again, the guys cook up a plan to make the boy lose his focus.

Howard: (on phone with his mother) There's no Ding Dong in it.
A ding dong is a chocolate cake that's round, with the exception of a flat top and bottom. The shape is quite similar to a hockey puck. The name of the cake comes from the sound of a ringing bell (hence, "ding dong") and the cake is filled with a white cream on the inside. To make it easier to have it in a lunch bag without the chocolate glaze melting, it is wrapped in a square of thick aluminum foil.
