(yes I know this is just tv prog...but,)

Did Penny just have sex with someone she wanted to break up with, ie. consent to sex with someone she didn't want to have sex with anymore.?
Maybe I'm being naive here, but having sex with someone who you don't want to have sex with, that's kinda icky, right ?!

[edit] just wondering what Leonard's response should be when he finds out he had sex with an unwilling partner. ?

Penny wasn't unwilling, just not willing to admit she wants to break-up is the way I saw it. But I missed most because of Last Resort.

Leonard won't care.

Penny wanted to end things but didn't say so because Leonard looked so vulnerable.
So ratther than deal with the consequence of being honest (Leonard in tears), she decided to instead let him pound away at her, all the while pretending she was into it.

OMG zwixxx...kinda naive is putting it mildly... I don't know how relationships work where you live but geeesh... Have you ever heard of divorce sex, or break up sex...people break up all the time and continue getting booty calls... I see this a little differently than some of you. Penny has had nothing but rotten unhealthy relationships and has a certain mentality to choosing ones that are somehow unavailable emotionally. Leonard is none of those. He's the first real healthy ( somewhat) boyfriend that she's had and she doesn't recognize it or she perceives it as boring. It's not boring, she hasn't realized yet that relationships can't always have that new warm and fuzzy feel to them at all times. After the "honeymoon" phase wears off, you settle into a different kind of love, which some deem as boring, others may say " comfortable". In my opinion she just hasn't seen it yet for what it really is...Real.

I agree with tinalessia, it's not that Penny doesn't care for Leonard or isn't willing to have sex with him (i mean it's not like you can only have sex with people you are in love with or want to be with, people have sex for all sorts of other reasons so yeah i think you are being somewhat naive zwixxx). She is so used to messed up relationships that is always full of drama so now that she is finally in a normal healthy relationship without all the drama she doesn't know what to make of it because it's such an entirely new experience for her and instead of realising that she just deems it as boring when all it is is real - you can't have that newly all loved up feeling all the time after a while that wears off and instead you get a deeper more "safe" love for eachother
