I decided to give this a shot for two reasons - it is created by the team that do 'Two and a Half Men', which I enjoy, and it had two geeks as its central characters (as a bit of a geek myself I do tend to like shows about geeks...) I am so glad that I did. For the first time in a long time, I actually found myself laughing out loud at a comedy instead of just smiling to myself. The jokes are funny even if you don't understand all the sciency bits, and my sister and I have found ourselves repeating entire scenes to our parents (from memory) because they were so good. If you are looking for a new comedy to pick up this season, The Big Bang Theory is the one I'd recommend. Review posted on Friday, October 19th 2007 at 3:07 am |

OK, so the propeller heads are more than abit irritating as far as character goes but the show was a riot. I just caught the pre-air pilot and am now hooked. The story line is funny, the characters play their roles well and most importantly, both the wife and I love the show (This does not happen often). It had us rolling around laughing. I love this show! Finally a humorous show with some intelligence. The cast is hilarious and always makes me laugh. Howard and Leonard are my favorites although Sheldon, Penny, and Rajesh are perfect. I've not seen an episode yet that has not made me laugh. Please don't let this show be cancelled! Its the funniest!!! Review posted on Saturday, December 15th 2007 at 3:17 pm |

I downloaded the first episode of this show with low expectations. I figured it'd be just another generic sitcom, but got it for the fairly unique premise of it being focussed on a pair of Theoretical Physicists. After watching the first episode, I was surprised by how much I actually enjoyed it! It's the best new US comedy of the season that I've seen (granted, I've only seen 2), and I recommend watching this. Review posted on Monday, October 15th 2007 at 1:59 am |

This show has several Roseanne show actors. Johnny Galecki is one of the characters of The Big Bang Theory, and Sara Gilbert has appeared, and so has Laurie Metcalf. This series is funny, some of the jokes are old, but a lot of the rest of it is hilarious. It's just beginning, only to be halted by the writer's strike. It should last a lot longer.
