Episode discussion for: 01x13 | Taking the Plunge (Nov 15, 2010)

What a beautiful, perfect season from beginning to end. It is such a perfect blend of comedy and drama. The characters, through the actors and writing, have such depth. Every time I think I know what is going to happen and expect the next typical Hollywood cue, this season has continually surprised me with the thoughtful and real direction it takes.

Laura Linnie is marvelous.

Regardless of what happens with any future seasons, this season is a great self-contained unit that could stand on its own even if no more episodes are ever made. Watching the season straight through makes this last episode a real tear jerker.

I agree, I was annoyed for a long time that it took so long to tell husband Paul but now I "get it."

I'm very much looking forward to the next season.
