During the last episode taped at the ranch, the final four contestants discover how far they have come in terms of weight loss and exercise by doing the same workout from their first day at the ranch. For their challenge, they have enough quarters to equal the weight they have lost since the first episode placed on their backs. Weighted with coins, they must scale the side of the building, and then make a second trip up the side minus the extra weight. The contestant with the most improved time between the climbs wins, and even gets to keep their quarters.

After weeks of training and careful eating, it comes down to choosing "The Biggest Loser" in this special two-hour, live season finale. Only three contestants remain in the contest to see who has the biggest percentage of weight-loss. The winner will be chosen during the live portion of the telecast.

The Muha family will battle the Samuels family in hopes of winning a $50,000 prize. The Biggest Loser: Special Edition brings back trainers Jillian and Bob to help two families desperate to change their lives. The two families will face the emotional, life-changing events that initially caused their weight gain, as well as a dessert challenge where the families must work together to carry ice cream boats across the desert to win great prizes. In the last hour of the special, the family with the highest percentage of weight loss will be the winners.



Special Edition: Engaged Couples (1)

The Biggest Loser: Special Edition series continues with engaged couples, Steve & Sarah versus Edwin & Rasha. Both couples visit trainers Jillian and Bob at the ranch for a chance to change their lives and lose weight before their wedding days. The teams face a variety of challenges and temptations during their stay, including the chance to find $10,000 worth of wedding bands by eating wedding cake and searching among limos to find hidden money.

The weight-loss battle continues at home with engaged couples Steve and Sarah and Edwin and Rasha. Not only do the couples have to continue the lifestyle change that they learned at the ranch, but they also must plan their wedding days.

Before one couple wins the grand prize of a $50,000 dream wedding, they will encounter many surprises along the way including a visit from a season one contestant. The couple with the highest percentage of weight loss will be the winners.

This episode continues in the second hour when both the 'Little Italy Family' and the '50's Diner Family' return to face their previous lives of fattening foods. Both families are thrilled when they discover new gym equipment and refrigerators filled with healthy food right in their own homes.

Tension breaks out between trainers Bob and Jillian and their respective families when disappointing results and unhealthy decisions surface. One family member gets some exciting news that changes her life and after the final weigh-in, one family walks away with $50,000.



Engaged Couples

In this special two hour episode of the The Biggest Loser, engaged couples, Bruce and Kimmi from Los Angeles will go head-to-head with Nick and Lael from Hawaii for the chance to win a $50,000 dream wedding. Both couples will be will struggle to complete their wedding cake challenge. Before going home after just 12 days at the ranch, each couple will have to weigh in for the chance to win a honeymoon vacation.

In the second hour, both couples head home to continue the lifestyle changes that they learned from Bob and Jillian before their return to the ranch for their final weigh in.



Military Wives (1)

Navy and Marine wives compete against each other to see who can lose more weight. In one of their first challenges, they also vie to win a free nanny for a week.



Military Wives (2)

In this finale hour of the military battle, the wives return to their regular lives and the challenging home environments where they must stick to the diet and exercise that they learned at the ranch. One team gets a surprise visit from a personal chef to help them stick to their meal plan.

Meanwhile, the Navy wives head to Hawaii to greet their husbands naval ship after being separated from them for six months. After receiving current photos of their competition, both teams realize they must kick it into high gear in order to beat their competition. Both teams will head back to the ranch for the final weigh in where one team will take home the $50,000 grand prize.



The Tofanellis Vs. The Stephens

Two familes are given the chance to lose weight and change their lives forever. Each of the teams struggle with medical conditions caused by their obesity and hope that trainers Bob and Jillian can make a difference in their health. The teams are confronted with a sandbag challenge where each family will have to carry two tons of sand in hopes of winning brand new mountain bikes. Before heading home, each family will weigh-in to see which team has the greatest percentage of weight lost. The winning family will get a vacation at the Westin Maui Resort and Spa in Hawaii.



25 :03x01 - Season 3, Episode 1

50 contestants, who represent every state in the U.S., learn who will stay at the ranch and who will leave to compete from home. First up: the two teams partake in a wall-scaling contest.



26 :03x02 - Season 3, Episode 2

In a special two-hour episode, the contestants get a taste of life away from the ranch with a trip to the beach. The teams quickly learn that it isn't all fun in the sun after Bob and Kim put them through a series of grueling workouts in the sand. At the challenge, the teams will fight for the chance to receive care packages from their families by building mountains of sand in order reach a team flag. Meanwhile, one contestant receives devastating news from home that could force them to leave the ranch.



27 :03x03 - Season 3, Episode 3

This week the teams must battle the buffets while going on a luxury cruise vacation. Bob and Kim show the teams how to make healthy food choices and work exercise into a vacation. During the challenge contestants will deliver room service orders all over the ship for the chance to win time with their loved ones. Each week the teams find out how much weight they have lost during the weigh-in and the losing team must send one of their own home from the ranch.



28 :03x04 - Season 3, Episode 4

Fresh off their disappointing week, the red team finds themselves falling apart mentally under the pressure. Kim gets frustrated with her team after they refuse to follow her lead. During the temptation, the players try their hand at winning a free pass that will save them from being eliminated. The stakes get higher at the escalator challenge when the teams find out they are playing for $10,000. Each week the teams find out how much weight they have lost during the weigh-in and the losing team must send one of their own home from the ranch.



29 :03x05 - Season 3, Episode 5

With the teams even, the players are shocked when they discover that the gym is locked for the week. Bob and Kim use the opportunity to show the teams that they can workout anywhere without using the gym. At the challenge, the blue team hopes to break their losing streak by winning "the wave" challenge at the Los Angeles Coliseum. Before they start the challenge both teams watch inspiring messages from home.



30 :03x06 - Season 3, Episode 6

After back-to-back losses, one team must step it up in order to keep their team together. During the temptation, the teams must guess the calorie content of various restaurant foods. The losing team will lose their trainer and have to order takeout for 72 hours. For the high flying challenge, teams will have the chance to win a gourmet meal or an intense pool work out at the Bel Age Hotel on the Sunset Strip.



31 :03x07 - Season 3, Episode 7

Caroline delivers shocking news to the teams when she announces that the red and blue teams are gone. One player will have the power to decide who will compete together as a duo. The duos must work together in an exhausting fire challenge in order to win a video phone call home. In an emotional weigh-in, the teams are shocked when an entire duo goes home.

Caroline shocks the duos when she tells them that some of the 36 state contestants are back to weigh-in for the chance to rejoin the competition. Two players rejoin the game, but they struggle to keep up with Bob and Kim's training. At the challenge, everyone has a "ton of fun" moving thousands of pounds across a huge warehouse.

Bob, Kim and season two winner Matt Hoover tackle the ever growing problem of childhood obesity when they head to their high schools to teach kids about proper exercise and nutrition. While checking out the school cafeteria, Bob and Kim chat with the school lunch ladies about replacing the unhealthy options. The trainers also find the time to inspire a few really needy kids to make a lifestyle change. The kids will be challenged to go home and change their unhealthy habits while educating their entire families with all they have learned.



36 :03x12 - Season 3, Episode 12

It's the final week at the ranch and emotions run high as the contestants prepare to return home. In the final challenge, the players decide to compete as a team in a "Biggest Loser" triathlon. After the elimination, the remaining four contestants say goodbye to their trainers and return to their families to see if they can continue losing weight on their own.

The immunity challenge has the red and blue teams racing up the stairs of a 10-story building. Then, the secret black team is revealed in the weigh-in room, creating a three-way competition.

The teams are given a food temptation competition, and given four minutes to decide whether or not they want to consume the most calories in exchange for a three-pound pass at the weigh-in. During the physical challenge, the contestants must complete three different 100-meter heats against a team of three kids.
