Episode Notes

This was actually the pilot for the Bob Newhart show, but for some reason it was not shown first. The major differences are that Bill Daily (Howard Borden) does not appear and the Hartleys live in a different apartment, but in the same building. The layout is similar but the furniture and decor are very different. Also, the Hartleys have an interest in having a child. This subject never came up again during the run of the show.
