Brooke realizes the pictures are gone and tells Thorne that Stephanie must have taken them to show Rick. Thorne tries to reassure Brooke that even if Rick sees the pictures, he may be furious but he won’t necessarily reconcile with Amber. Stephanie stops Rick from answering the phone, explaining that she may know why Rick saw Amber in Deacon’s arms. Stephanie hands him the pictures. Rick realizes he has to get to Amber, but first he’s going to confront his mother. Stephanie encourages Rick to work things out with Amber before telling Brooke to stop interfering. Amber wonders why Deacon brought her to Las Vegas and asks him to take her home. She understands that Deacon is trying to help, but she can’t just forget Rick. Eric tries to convince Ridge that he’s stressed out, but Ridge insists that he heard Steffy’s voice. Tim tells Morgan, who needs no reminding, that she has to convince Ridge that it was a crank call and there’s no way Steffy could be alive. Tim is alarmed when Morgan reveals that Steffy mentioned Taylor when she spoke with Ridge. Taylor is sure that Ridge will start looking for them, but Morgan is determined to make sure Ridge stops thinking Steffy is alive. While Morgan vamps Tim to insure his support, Taylor slips Steffy’s drawing into Morgan’s purse. Eric asks Morgan if there’s any way it could have been Steffy on the phone. Deacon tries to cheer Amber up by showing up at the door doing an Elvis impersonation. Enraged, Rick asks Brooke how she could do this to him.
