Taylor tries to convince Tim that Morgan is after Ridge, but Tim insists that Morgan is committed to him. He’s certain that Morgan will let Taylor go as soon as she realizes that she has no future with Ridge, and refuses to believe that Morgan would try to seduce Ridge. Tim is surprised that Taylor believes Morgan would resort to murder, but Taylor insists that killing them is the only way Morgan could be with Ridge. Rick tells Amber that Brooke set them up, but admits he made a terrible mistake kissing Amanda. Amber points out that she’s not like his college friends and senses that Rick feels embarrassed by Amber when she’s around them. Ridge presses Morgan for more information about the last time she saw Taylor, but realizes that he’s pushing too hard and asks her to dance. Ridge tells Morgan that he wants them to be completely honest with each other. Turning on the sexual charm, he suggests they head home. Morgan’s thrill turns to horror when Ridge tells her in the car that they’re going to her house. She tries to talk him into going somewhere else but Ridge senses Morgan’s discomfort – and is determined to find out why. Tim realizes Ridge is there and tries to get Taylor down to the basement, but Taylor grabs something from the table and hurls it out the window. Ridge reacts to the crash. Morgan grabs him and begs him not to go into the house. Deacon takes Amber aside and points out how many times Rick has broken her heart. He promises Amber that if she stays with him, Brooke will never hurt her again. Deacon wants Amber to tell him how she feels about what’s been happening between them. He urges her not to leave and spoil the magic.
