Ridge refuses to shake Massimo's hand when he offers congratulations for Ridge's new responsibilities at the company. Massimo tells himself that someday, Ridge will know the truth about all Massimo has done for him. He fantasizes about the moment he tells Ridge everything. Bridget realizes that Brooke is at a spa in Ojai. Amber urges Bridget to attend the stock meeting before she heads up to check on Brooke. Stephanie suspects that Brooke will use the company to get back at Stephanie for what happened with Brooke's father. Amber tells Deacon that Bridget's going to visit Brooke and maybe she can drag out of Brooke what's bothering her. Amber tells Deacon about the meeting, marveling that one day their respective spouses will be majority owners of Forrester. As the meeting begins, Eric explains his new plan for the division of the company, but Stephanie adds that it's contingent on Brooke's decision and asks Connor about the letter with Brooke's instructions. Brooke's letter leaves Ridge acting CEO in her absence, and notes that she will leave her shares divided evenly among her children - not specifically Bridget and Rick. Champagne is opened, and Ridge toasts his parents for making all this possible.
