Brooke calls Deacon to find out if he told Bridget that he wants a divorce. Deacon is having second thoughts, but Brooke insists that he let Bridget get on with her life. After they hang up, Deacon says to himself that Brooke is right. Bridget returns home to get her things for the sorority slumber party, and is surprised that Deacon is still at home. She tries to blow off the sorority party, but Deacon insists that she pledge. After Bridget leaves, Brooke calls Deacon again and he agrees to come over to her house. Deacon tells Brooke that he needs more time to think about ending his marriage. Brooke won’t allow him to leave until he agrees to divorce Bridget. Sally accepts Massimo’s accolades for her helping to bring Tony and Kristen together. Sally mentions that the Forresters will not be happy about the union, and explains that Tony is HIV positive. Massimo has nothing but contempt for Eric, but he can understand why he’s concerned about his daughter. Sally also understands, but knows that Tony would kill himself before he would ever harm Kristen. A disguised Eric drives Kristen and Tony’s limo and listens in on their conversation. Kristen knows that being engaged to Tony is right, and Tony feels the same way. When Tony gets out to open Kristen’s door, the limo speeds away with Kristen still inside! Kristen is shocked to discover that the driver is Eric and demands to know what’s going on. Eric brings her back to his office, where Clarke arrives with a tape for her to watch. Eric wants Kristen to watch the video - and then think about whether she really wants to marry Tony. Tony contacts Sally and tells her that he suspects Eric was behind Kristen’s alleged kidnapping.
