Deacon asks Bridget where she would be right now if they hadn't met that night at the Lair. Bridget assures him that she doesn't feel cheated out of what she's given up to be with him - she loves him. Deacon feels that she deserves better. He says to himself that Bridget would be making something out of her life right now if it wasn't for him. Bridget becomes concerned when Deacon says that he has to tell her something. Stephanie thinks the flowers and lunch invitation are from Eric, but Massimo reveals that they're from him. An embarrassed Stephanie tells Massimo that it's inappropriate and is about to leave when “their song” starts to play. Massimo asks Stephanie for one dance for old times' sake. Sally spots them as they dance. When Stephanie leaves, Sally makes her move to Massimo. Brooke tells Amber that her pregnancy is the saddest news she's ever heard. Amber admits she was tempted by Deacon, but the love and security Rick can give to her unborn child is worth more than anything Deacon has to offer. Amber warns Brooke to back off before she alienates Rick. When Amber is gone, Brooke tells herself that they'll see how solid Amber's marriage is after Deacon leaves Bridget. Rick admits to Thorne that he's so angry with Amber that he doesn't think he can stay in the same house with her. He adds that if anyone has been blinder than he has to what's been going on, it's Bridget. Thorne thinks Rick is too upset to talk to Amber right now and reminds Rick that Amber is the mother of his child. When Amber comes home, she is taken aback by Rick's tone and asks him what's wrong.
