Brooke tells Ridge that she wants to help her father, but she doesn't know how. When Ridge asks about the card, Brooke says that her father explained it was from his hotel. Ridge insists that it looks like a personal business card. Brooke starts to worry that it could have something to do with Stephen's illness. Taylor tells Stephanie that Ridge has Massimo's card. She wants to tell Ridge the truth before Ridge connects Stephen to Massimo. She admits that she went along with the plan to protect her family, but worries that her marriage will be over if Ridge learns the truth. Stephen confesses to Massimo that Ridge has the card. An irritated Massimo points out that his carelessness has jeopardized the entire project. He informs Stephen that he is taking control of the situation and that he is arranging for Brooke to have a date tonight. Massimo calls Jacques and tells him that he wants Brooke dealt with this evening. Jacques promises that Brooke won't know what hit her. Stephanie tells Massimo that Ridge has the card, but Massimo insists that he has everything under control. Brooke Logan will not be returning to the States. Ridge dials the number on the card, only to discover that it's been disconnected. Deacon tells Amber that she can't live her whole life to please the Forresters. He wants her to run away with him, but Amber refuses. She insists that they both made their choices and now they have to live with them. She touches his face as Rick walks into the Lair. Amber tells a tearful Deacon goodbye. Deacon takes Amber in his arms and kisses her. He tells Amber he loves her, and she admits she loves him, too. Rick watches in horror. Jacques goes to Brooke's office and tells her that her father wants him to have dinner with her tonight.
