Eric orders Massimo to leave and never come back. Massimo realizes that Eric doesn’t know that he and Stephanie have been in contact for years when Stephanie needed someone to confide in. He was there for Stephanie then - and he’s here for her now. Eric tells Massimo to stay away from his wife. Ridge tries to convince Taylor that Brooke is upset and just going through a phase. Taylor insists that it’s not a phase; it’s a pattern. Taylor thinks Brooke is dangerous. She urges Ridge to get Brooke out of their lives now because if he doesn’t, Taylor can’t be held responsible for what she might do. Brooke sees Catherine with Ridge’s children and calls them into his office. Brooke hugs the children, offers them candy, and asks them to visit her sometime. Taylor is enraged when she sees Brooke kissing the children goodbye and telling them that she loves them as if they were her own. When the kids are gone, Taylor furiously knocks everything off Brooke’s desk and tells Brooke that she’ll be sorry if she goes anywhere near her children again. Brooke tells Taylor to let Ridge go, and she’ll never bother her again. Taylor lunges at Brooke. Ridge stops Taylor just in time. Taylor tells Ridge that Brooke has to be stopped. The doctor instructs Amber and Deacon to watch Little Eric’s temperature for the next twenty-four hours. Deacon calls Bridget and lets her know that Little Eric is sick and Deacon has to stay there as long as he’s needed. Amber and Deacon are relieved when Little Eric’s fever breaks.
