Amber notices Bridget having another glass of the spiked punch and urges Deacon to stop her. Amber regrets her move and worries about what Rick and Bridget would do if they found out that she was responsible. Rick notes that the party has kicked up a notch. When Amber asks Rick if he’s really happy, Rick responds that his only regret is letting her go the first time. As they dance, Bridget and Deacon tell each other that they’re going to make their marriage work. Ginger informs Amber that she saw her spike the punch. She also notes Amber’s reaction to seeing Deacon and Bridget dancing together. Rick sees Deacon about to dump the punch out and doesn’t believe Deacon when he insists that he wasn’t the one who spiked it. Amber overhears and later thanks Deacon for not revealing that it was her doing. She watches as a tipsy Bridget holds Deacon seductively. Taylor assures Thorne that she and Ridge will settle their differences. Thorne points out that with Stephanie out of town, there is nobody to keep Brooke in line. Taylor refuses to live her life looking over her shoulder for Brooke. He urges her to smooth things over with Ridge and Taylor decides to meet him in the steam room. Meanwhile, Brooke tells Ridge that he’ll never be truly happy and fulfilled with Taylor because her take on life is so different from theirs. Brooke promises Ridge that they would share everything because they’ve always been open with each other. Ridge tries to leave, but Brooke stops him, insisting that they are destined to be together. Brooke moves closer to Ridge and tells him that she wants him to leave his wife and marry her!
