Thorne packs up his things, but refuses to talk with Brooke. Deacon is dismayed when Bridget leaves him a dressy outfit for Stephanie's dinner party. When Amber sees him in the clothes, she bursts into laughter. Deacon glares at her when she snaps a picture. After, he tells Amber about his conversation with Brooke, which led to Brooke and Thorne's annulment. Amber and Deacon decide to take Little D. to the beach. Deacon notices that Amber still has her tattoo. They acknowledge that they are both making their respective marriages work. Bridget is surprised when Brooke suggests that maybe the annulment is for the best. Thorne confirms that Brooke doesn't want to save her marriage because she is in love with Ridge. Bridget is crushed, pointing out that marriage is supposed to be a commitment. She reminds them how hard she's been fighting to make her marriage to Deacon work. Thorne tells Bridget that he should have seen this coming. He is as much to blame as Brooke for the marriage not working. Thorne wishes that Brooke could have felt about him the way she did about Ridge because he did love her, and loves her still. He advises Brooke to let go of Ridge because it will never work.
