Tony tells Taylor that he's going to get the AIDS test, but Taylor realizes he's just making the promise as a ploy to get a prescription for stress medication. Taylor questions him about the girlfriend he claims to care so much about, and explains that Tony can't take chances with his own health - or anyone else's. If he loves this woman, he has to protect her. She tells him that anything is better than not knowing. Brooke insists that she was just trying to protect her daughter and assures Thorne that their marriage was not a mistake. Thorne is unconvinced. He believes that everything Brooke said to Deacon was true even though Brooke insists there's no real comparison between Deacon's situation and hers. She reminds him of everything they went through to be together. Thorne wonders if he could do better than someone who settled for him and accepts him as second best. Megan urges Ridge to stop Thorne from breaking up with Brooke, pointing out that he's the only person that can convince Thorne that there's nothing going on between Brooke and Ridge. He admits there's a connection between Brooke and him, but he'd never act on it. Sofia apologizes to Kristen for the way she has treated her. She adds that Tony is a good person and Kristen can trust him with her life.
