Deacon watches in horror as the doctor tries to revive Bridget. Tony can’t understand why Ellen’s family wouldn’t talk to him about what was troubling Ellen before her suicide. As Kristen heads back to L.A. and Tony gets ready to meet with the doctor, they profess their love for one another. Dr. Paxson tells the Forresters that Bridget is stable, but unconscious. Eric is enraged when they’re told they can’t see Bridget until her husband comes out. Brooke sobs when she sees Bridget lying in her hospital bed, feeling guilt-ridden that she didn’t stop Bridget’s involvement with Deacon. Brooke begs her daughter not to let go. Deacon refuses to leave until Bridget is out of the woods. Eric lunges at Deacon, calling him a child molester. A couple of orderlies pull them apart. On the plane, Kristen fantasizes about her future with Tony. Meanwhile, Dr. Elderkin asks Tony about his relationship with Kristen and breaks it to him that Ellen committed suicide after learning that she had AIDS. Tony is stunned when the doctor explains that the man who gave Ellen the disease, whom she dated before she met Tony, is dead. He confirms that Ellen was HIV-positive when they were together, and Tony may now have the disease.
