Brooke comments that she’s never seen Kristen happier. When Helen is called away for a family emergency, Tony leads the Forresters into the kitchen to prepare dinner. Tony orchestrates the meal preparation, with everyone pitching in. Kristen takes some ribbing from her brothers about her own cooking. After the meal, Tony leaves for the airport, determined to get some answers about Ellen’s death. He urges Kristen to go to Miami with him, but Kristen thinks it’s too soon. Brooke tells the Forresters that it’s obvious Kristen is in love. Amber and Deacon realize uncomfortably that Bridget and Betsy are watching them. Deacon is especially solicitous and complimentary of Bridget during dinner. Bridget admits that it’s been hard hurting her parents, but she knows it will be worth it when they see what kind of person Deacon really is. Betsy assures Bridget that Deacon appears to be totally in love with her. Deacon is disgusted with himself for using Bridget as a weapon. Amber insists that Deacon doesn’t give a damn about Bridget. Unaware that Bridget is listening, Deacon admits that its true and everyone knows it except Bridget.
