Horrified, Tony thinks that something has happened to Kristen, but Chad tells him he just heard that his friend, Ellen, was found dead of an overdose. Sally assures Sofia that no one is going to steal Tony from them. This is Spectra’s moment, and nothing’s going to spoil it. Brooke is upset when she sees Bridget waiting on Deacon. When Bridget has to run to the store, she warns her mother to leave Deacon alone. Brooke has to keep her anger under control when Deacon taunts her about Bridget. Deacon bluntly tells Brooke that he’s going to make his marriage to Bridget work so he can stay close to Amber and his son. Brooke tells Deacon that Bridget is not a bargaining chip, and Deacon is a sick, evil man. She slaps him across the face, professing her hatred for him, and promises to end the marriage. Kristen tells her brothers that the Spectra line was a huge success, and Antonio Dominguez is the most amazing man she ever met. She thinks she may have finally met Mr. Right and no one can keep them apart. Thorne and Ridge are concerned and wonder how well Kristen really knows Tony. At Las Olas, Tony takes questions from reporters before excusing himself, explaining that a friend has tragically died. Sofia tells Sally that it’s very strange that Ellen would have died from an overdose. Tony tells Kristen that he needs to get to the truth of what happened to his friend. She embraces him supportively.
