Deacon tells Amber that she’s the only one who can keep him from going through with this. Amber calls out to Bridget that Deacon is lying to her, but Deacon loudly claims the Forresters put her up to this and hustles Amber out. Antonio apologizes, but tells Sally that his talents would be better used somewhere else. Clarke realizes that he means Forrester and tells Antonio he knows from experience that when you work for Forrester, you’re just a cog in the machine. At Spectra, Antonio could have creative freedom. Sally tells Antonio the story of Macy’s death and the Forresters’ involvement. Antonio tells Sally her broken heart can be healed, and he wants to help Sally honor her daughter’s memory. Amber confirms that the marriage is a farce, but tries to assure Brooke that Deacon won’t hurt Bridget. She adds that Deacon won’t back off until he gets what he wants. Brooke is horrified when she realizes Deacon intends to sleep with Bridget. She angrily tells Amber that this is all her fault. Brooke urges Rick to end his marriage so they can save his sister. Bridget wonders why Amber was there. Deacon tells Bridget that it’s time her family realizes that they’re not fooling around. He needs her more than he’s needed anyone. When she insists that she’s ready, Deacon kisses her and heads to the bedroom. Eric, Brooke and Rick call Deacon on the speaker phone and tell him to send Bridget home. When Bridget comes out, he sets down the phone so they can hear him as he starts making love to Bridget.
