Deacon admits that he doesn’t want to lose Bridget, and she promises him that he won’t. Bridget tells Deacon that she can’t get married to prove a point or for revenge. Deacon helps her realize that if they wait, Brooke will just keep looking for ways to separate them. Deacon tells Bridget there are only two ways to deal with her family - stand up to them and get married, or break up right away. Bridget decides they should get married and Deacon kisses her. He tells her that he’s looked for someone like her all his life and he’s going to treat her like a princess. Bridget just wants him to treat her like an adult woman. Amber doesn’t believe that it’s over between Deacon and Bridget. She notes that he didn’t put up a fight when he was being beat up and wonders if he was trying to score points with Bridget. Amber worries that Bridget is in over her head, but Rick assures her that his family will take care of the situation. As Rick and Amber start to enjoy their wedding night, Amber hopes that Rick doesn’t notice her tattoo. Stephanie worries about Bridget and realizes that Deacon’s manipulating her the way he did with Becky. Eric and Brooke go to talk to Bridget, but find she’s not in her room. Stephanie wonders if Bridget could be with Deacon. As they head into Vegas, Deacon tells Bridget that she’ll be Mrs. Deacon Sharpe within the hour. In the chapel, Bridget worries about how much this will hurt her family, but Deacon kisses her and embraces her and says that he’s her family now.
