Sally and Darla find out about Deacon’s plan from Alexandra, who insists that Deacon isn’t after the money. Alexandra explains that it’s up to the Forresters to decide whether Bridget or Amber will go home with Deacon. Bridget screams when Eric lunges at Deacon. She defends Deacon to her family and starts to leave, but Ridge insists that she’s not leaving with Deacon. Brooke tries to convince Bridget that Deacon is using her. Deacon holds Little Eric and accuses the Forresters first of taking away the son he loves and now that he’s fallen for Bridget, trying to take her away from him too. Bridget assures everyone that if Deacon leaves, she’s going with him. Amber tells Bridget that this is about her and asks to speak with Deacon alone. Amber tells Deacon that he’s gone too far. He explains that he did this to give them a chance to have a life together with their son. He promises Amber that together they can do anything and kisses her passionately. Bridget angrily denies it when Eric points out that Deacon made his move after he found out she was a Forrester. She insists that Deacon has genuine feelings for her. Eric, Brooke and Rick barge in on Amber and Deacon and order Deacon to leave. Deacon tells them the ball is in their court. He’s not walking out alone and the choice is theirs whether he leaves with Amber or Bridget.
