Hard to tell. At one point Huey tells White Shadow he doesn't exist, but at the end is starting to think that the government wants him to think he's crazy. |

After watching it again on my DVD set*, I realized....HE'S REAL!!! If you have this episode on tape or something, watch it! At the end of the episode, the White Shadow tells Huey the plan didn't work. He'd have to be real to know that, since Huey suspected it, but didn't know. That proves it!

My current avatar portrays the White Shadow during his first appearance in "The Real". It has Huey in the reflection with his scarf blowing in the wind (look hard). I'm going to fix it later so you can see the animation better. |
