The Carrie Diaries, based on the novel by Candace Bushnell, follows a younger Carrie Bradshaw (Sex and the City) who comes of age in the '80s, asking her first questions about love, sex, friendship and family while exploring the worlds of high school and Manhattan.

1x13: Kiss Yesterday Goodbye recap: The episode begins with Carrie, Mouse, and Maggie talking about Carrie’s recent breakup. Carrie’s friends tell her that she and Sebastian were great together and the worst part is that, they broke up right before prom. Mouse tells them that her parents don’t know about West, and she would like to keep it that way. She tells them that their Chinese heritage is more important to them than Harvard. They don’t want her to date any guy who is not Chinese. So, the three friends decide to go to the prom with each other. 1x12: A First Time for Everything recap: The episode begins with Carrie and Sebastian playing a dice game when Sebastian professes his love for her. As an answer, Carrie tells him that she wants to have sex with him. At the diner, Carrie is embarrassed about voicing her thoughts and tells Mouse that she is feeling bad about it. At home, the phone rings and Dorritt and Tom rush to pick up the call. It is Deb and Dorritt is disappointed. She leaves to go to the record store. Walt tells her that he can meet her in the city for lunch. Carrie says that if Larissa liked her work, she would hire her as a full time assistant with a stipend. Carrie is super excited.
