Taking myself off the ListRating: 1 likes, 3 dislikes
I gave The Client List a watch because the Lifetime Network decided to advertise all around the city, and because it's almost impossible for Jennifer Love Hewitt to get any prettier.
The Result? It's a Lifetime show. It's a mash-up of feminine cliches, a blurry soft-focus effect that makes everything look hazy, and a lot of fake southern accents. The strangest thing is that I would think a show for women about feelings would be challenging, but the emotional writing in this show is equivalent to a bag of potato chips.
The kicker? Jennifer Love Hewitt's character needs money, and at just the right time a long forgotten friend tells her about a massage parlor that has an opening. Oh, and massage parlors have happy endings for a extra price. Once again, Jennifer Love Hewitt's character needs money.
If you like slow dramas, this is probably good for you, but please note, this is a Lifetime show, not a Showtime show, or an HBO show, and that makes a huge difference.
