Provenza tells that the only way to exchange photos are through the dating service. Johnson wants records of Judy’s spending habits. They look at the security footage and they see a Camero and Gifford, the owner of the building, doesn’t recognize it. They notice that Dreamweaver pauses. Chief Pope enters and tells Johnson that she was supposed to meet the Mayor for the final interview. She tells that she really does want the job. Pope takes her to his office where Captain Rayder and Commander Taylor are waiting. They tell her that she cannot just quit and that she will demoralize the LAPD if she quits. She asks if she can skip the prep work, but they tell that is a bad idea. Sergeant Gabriel comes in and tells that they have a hit on Dreamweaver, who is really Mark Torez. Sergeant Gabriel tells that he has a new date. Gabriel and the rest of the team put up surveillance around Torez and he arrives at the location. Gifford comes clean about the murder of Judy and Johnson tells that Gifford was just trying to defend himself and tells him to write it all down so they can get the case finished. Mark wonders why he is there and Johnson tells that they had to key his car again to get the gold paint. She tells him to cover the cost of the paint job and she will see that the charges are dropped by the FBI.

Back at the station, Captain Rayder enters and asks Johnson you if she really wants to be Chief of Police. Rayder tells that she only is in her position because she thought it would rank her higher.
